The forecast called for 2 to 4 inches this morning but here, at the east end of the valley we got only very little. More a dusting. But I just checked road conditions on the front way, the 330, and it requires chains, so it must have snowed more on that end of the valley. No snow in the forecast for the next week but the ski resorts happening!

It's been cold...really cold! I've lived in Canada before so I know cold... and this is cold... low single digits at night?!? Isn't it a bit early? And its not snapping out of it either.

If you are coming to Big Bear warm clothes..and I am not talking Southern California "warm" clothes like a long sleeve sweater :-) I am talking mittens and gloves, hats, warm insulated boots and winter coats!

More snow expected this weekend, coming in late Saturday night, so expect clouds and maybe fog on Saturday. At least prepare. Bring snow chains.

More as soon as I see more white stuff.
