RING IN THE NEW YEAR WITH BBMR!!!

Snow Summit will be ringing in the New Year with our annual Torch Light Parade beginning tonight at 7:00 p.m. The Torch Light Parade participants are our very own Big Bear Mountain Resorts employees who will be traversing down Miracle Mile carrying fiery red torches in celebration of a new year! A New Year's Eve Party will be held at Snow Summit for ages 21 and older starting at 8:00 p.m. - 12:30 a.m. with a cover charge of only $10 Bear Mountain's New Year's Eve Party will also be for ages 21 and older and it will begin at 9:00 pm. - 12:30 p.m. with a cover carge of $25 Start your New Year's Eve on the slopes then head for the parties for snacks and hors d'oevres and enjoy the the music!

MORE TERRAIN OPENS TODAY!

With this cold weather front lingering in Big Bear, snowmaking has been in progress since noon Thursday! Because of the continued snowmaking, more terrain is open today at Snow Summit: Mainstream, and Side Show. 23 lifts are available at Big Bear Bear Mountain Resorts and numerous runs and trails are open! Conditions are excellent and snowmaking will resume as conditions permit. More runs and lifts will open as snowmaking continues!

14 lifts are now open at Big Bear Mountain Resorts! With two recent snowfalls and aggressive snowmaking, even more runs will be opening in the next few days! Log Chute opens today, top to bottom and Westridge is expected to open tomorrow, top to bottom. Timber Ridge is expected to open in the next couple of days. Snow Summit now has 8 lifts open. Bear Mountain's Chair 6 to Easy Street and Hidden Valley are now open, providing 6 lifts open for all abilities! Snowmaking has been in progress around the clock since late Saturday night!

SNOW ARRIVING IN BIG BEAR!!! Snow flurries in Big Bear this morning ontop of yesterday's 4-6 inches of snow! In addition, aggressive snowmaking has allowed our resorts to open a few more runs and 4 additional chair lifts to a variety of favorite routes. Snowmaking has been in progress around the clock since late Saturday night! We anticipate this weather front bringing very cold temperatures which will give us more opportunities to make tons more snow. With so many runs and trails to choose from it's hard to pick a favorite, so we challenge you to try!

Big Bear Mountain Resorts is expecting snow just in time to kick off the Holiday Season! We anticipate this weather front coming in late this weekend bringing with it possible snow showers and very cold temperatures which will give us another opportunity for us to make the favored white stuff.

FIVE LIFTS OPEN!!
5 Lifts are in operation: 1, 2, 3, 8 and Moving Carpet #3 providing access to terrain for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. Summit Run, Miracle Mile, Upper Westridge, Zzyzx, Ego Trip and the Bear Bottom Beginner's Area are all open with great conditions! We will open more runs and lifts in the near future as winter weather arrives and snowmaking continues.

YOUR RESPONSIBILTY CODE

Central Park opens today bringing the total feature count to a massive 85! Bear Mountain has 44 jibs and 41 snow features set up throughout The Park!! Progression Alley is open and designed especially for entry level freestyle snowboarders and skiers, as well as for those who just want to aquire a lil' more style. There’s something for everyone at Bear Mountain! As snowmaking continues and winter weather approaches, we will open more runs in the near future.

A Winter Storm is in the forecast for the latter part of the upcoming weekend!
