Current Conditions:

A series of storms is forecasted for the next few days, which means we will have very short lift lines and plenty of skiing and snowboading for everyone! This season is shaping up to be one of our best natural snow seasons ever so come take advantage of this unique opportunity and enjoy terrific conditions! Our base is currently 2 to 4 feet, which is the deepest we’ve had in years! All runs are open with excellent coverage and the snow surface is fresh powder to machine groomed packed powder. In addition to the new snow, snowmaking operations are in progress at both resorts and will continue as conditions permit.

It’s snowing again in the mountains! Today's forecast is calling for cloudy skies through the afternoon with snow likely. Highs are expected to reach into the mid 30s with lows dropping into the teens.

Hours of Operation for Today:

Snow Summit’s hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with night sessions scheduled tonight and tomorrow night from 3:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.; weather and conditions permitting. Bear Mountain’s hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Road Conditions:

Chains are required on all vehicles except for those with 4-WD and snow tires on Hwy 38 through Redlands, Hwy 330/18 through Running Springs, and Hwy 18 through Lucerne. Remember you must always carry chains in your vehicle when traveling to the mountains and have them readily accessible to checkpoint officers. Contact Cal-Trans at 1-800-427-ROAD for the latest road conditions before heading to the resorts.
