Expect possible short delays Monday - Friday due to ongoing road repairs. Hwy 330/18 is the recommended route at this time with shorter or no delays. Hwy 18 through the Lucerne Valley remains closed due to storm damage. Keep in touch with this report or contact CalTrans at 1-800-427-ROAD for updated road conditions, as they can change at any time. Remember to always carry chains in your vehicle when traveling to the mountains and have them readily accessible to checkpoint officers.
