Saturday - Still fast moving Pacific low pressure moves in gradually during the morning, with significant snowfall possible in our local mountains finally. It looks like we have a good shot of southerly flow and strong dynamics as this low moves through, but it moves through a bit fast (3 to 5 hours of best accumulating heavy snowfall during the day) so accumulations look moderate. Snow levels do not look like an issue, below resort elevations from the start as cold air phases well with the cold air in this system. By evening snow showers become lighter but continue, becoming isolated overnight. Some thunderstorms are also possible, mainly during the day."
