Happy New Year everyone!

Well, 2004 is here and with it the holiday traffic for Big Bear. The good news: the roads are mostly dry and the road conditions are good. All roads are open. And the other good news: The ski resorts have made a lot! of new snow so that skiing and snowboarding at both Snow Summit and Bear Mountain, which are now know as "Big Bear Mountain Resorts" is now in full swing and THE place to be. My tip: If you want to come to go skiing, then try to come up midweek. You can get better deals for lodging, you have less traffic and no waiting in lines for the ski lift. Doesn't get any better.
