What a beautiful day in Big Bear! The sun is shining and the wind has died down. It's in the 40's today and the temps are suppose to go up over the next few days. We are expecting a great week with temps in the high 40's to low 50's. Perfect for a winter trip to the mountains.

The roads are dry if you come up the 18 through Victorville. I went off the mountain yesterday via the 38 and chain restriction were still in force. It wasn't too bad but for a small ways it would have been dangerously icy with a 2 wheel drive without chains. So play it safe. Either come up through the desert / Victorville or be prepared to put on chains.
