Wow, I guess we totally neglected this blog site for month! Well, time to get back into it as its fall...and we all are getting ready for the upcoming winter and ski season. So here we are. It's starting to get cold at night, and the other morning I found ice on the water bucket outside, so winter is near. But for now: Here are some updates on what's going on in Big Bear right now:

The Snow Summit Scenic Sky Chair in Big Bear Lake is open daily!

Summer at Big Bear Mountain Resorts - Hours and important dates.
The Snow Summit Scenic Sky Chair is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Saturday and Holidays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 8:00 am to 4:00 p.m.

The Bear Mountain Golf Course & Restaurant are open!
Big Bear Lake's Bear Mountain's 9-hole mountain golf course is now open daily. Come see how far your ball will soar at 7,000 feet! For more information and tee times call 909.585.8002. The Bear Mountain Golf Course and Driving Range are now open daily! For tee times call 909.585.8002. Driving range hours are 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily and closing at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.

New Bear Mountain Golf Course Improvements.
In an effort to improve play on Big Bear's only golf course several projects were completed prior to opening for the summer season. The Bear Mountain Golf Course and Driving Range are now open daily! For tee times call 909.585.8002. Driving range hours are 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily and closing at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesdays.

MOUNTAIN BIKE RACES COMING LATER THIS YEAR
12-Hours at the Summit The ninth annual Hours at the Summit is a cross-country endurance race held at Snow Summit on August 14, 2004. This race is not for the weak! Each 8-mile loop requires a 1200 vertical feet climb. Participants may choose to race solo for 12 hours or team up with two or four total members and share the grueling effort. The Michelob Ultra Fall Classic The 17th annual Fall Classic held at Snow Summit will take place October 9 -10, 2004. This great fall event includes cross-country, downhill and super D disciplines for all ages and abilities. The Fall Classic is very popular tradition at Snow Summit.
