Residents and visitors now have another option for travel. According to a Caltrans press release this morning, Route 18 is open from Big Bear Dam to Snow Valley with flagging, and 330 is open from Highland to Live Oak. Neither road has chain requirements in place at this time. However, Route 38 remains the preferred means of travel."
