All runs are open offering a wide variety of terrain for all levels of skiers and snowboarders. Please be prepared for changing weather conditions and always carry chains in your vehicle when traveling in the mountains.
Coverage is excellent with a 3 to 5 foot base and a machine groomed granular hard packed surface that will loosen during the day. Geronimo at Bear Mountain will be open 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday.

Forecasts for today are calling for partly cloudy skies with slightly cooler temperatures and breezy conditions. Highs are expected to reach into the mid 40s with overnight lows dropping into the mid 20s.

Snow Summit: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The next night sessions are scheduled for Fri 2/18, Sat 2/19 and Sun 2/20; weather and conditions permitting.
Bear Mountain: 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Regular season rates are in effect Sunday through Friday and peak season rates are in effect on Saturdays ONLY in February. Holiday rates are in effect Saturday 2/19 – Monday 2/21 for the Presidents Holiday.

All roads leading into the Big Bear Valley are open and clear with no restrictions. We recommend that you use Hwy 38 on busy weekends and holidays to avoid traffic congestion. Keep in touch with this report or contact CalTrans at 1-800-427-ROAD for the latest on road conditions. Remember to always carry chains in your vehicle when traveling to the mountains and have them readily accessible to checkpoint officers.
