Big Bear Mountain Resort reports: "We are as anxious as you are to get the season started. Our snowmaking system was turned on at 5:30 pm on 11/26 at Snow Summit and Bear Mountain and all of our snowmakers are working very hard to get the resort open as soon as possible. We had a great night of snowmaking. Keep in touch with this report for our opening date."

2005/2006 Winter Season Passes are on sale now.
A Dual Mountain Pass provides more options than ever with access to two full-service resorts. Bear Mountain only passes offer a more affordable option for those who want to spend their days riding “The Park” at Bear Mountain. Dual-Mountain Pass holders receive free Snow Summit Scenic Sky Chair tickets all summer long (excluding night passes). In addition, all Bear Mountain only passes are valid for Snow Summit night sessions.
