Current Weather and Snow Conditions:

Snowmaking crews had to cease operations this morning after a great around the clock run. Snowmaking operations will resume as soon as conditions permit. Conditions are much better than you may expect. Today's surface ranges from machine groomed packed powder to machine groomed hard packed with excellent coverage on the open runs.

Forecasts are calling for mostly cloudy skies with cooler temperatures and west breezes. Isolated snow showers are possible by evening/overnight.
Highs are expected to reach into the low-40s with overnight lows dropping into the mid-20s.

MORE FOR THE HOLIDAYS AT BIG BEAR MOUNTAIN RESORTS!

At Big Bear Mountain Resorts one lift ticket gives you access to MORE open terrain, MORE lifts operating and MORE terrain features than any other Southern California resort with a free shuttle running between the resorts! Big Bear Mountain Resorts is now operating 14 lifts as needed, including four high-speed quads accessing three top-to-bottom runs open including The Park Run with 1,300 vertical feet at Bear Mountain, Miracle Mile and Summit Run with 1,200 vertical feet at Snow Summit and many more trails off those three main runs. The All-Mountain Freestyle Park at Bear now has 60 jumps, rails and boxes with 20 more on the Ridge at Snow Summit now have 90 jumps, rails and boxes! For all of you first timers the resorts offer two beginner areas with gentle terrain accessed by 7 lifts, including a high speed quad.

More lifts and runs are now open for the holidays, including Chair 2 and Amusement Park at Bear Mountain and Chair 4, Chair 9, Cruiser and Sundown at Snow Summit! Go to our Web site's photo gallery at bigbearmountainresorts.com for highlighted trail maps indicating runs open and runs to open next.

Holiday Period at Big Bear Mountain Resorts - Saturday, Dec. 17th thru Sunday, Jan. 1st

Our lift ticket prices have increased for the holiday period but will still be discounted from the listed

holiday rates (excluding ski school packages) until we get more lifts and runs open.

Discounted Holiday Rate for Adults - $52
Discounted Holiday Rate for Young adults (ages 13-21 with a valid ID ) - $41
Discounted Holiday Rate for Children (ages 7-12) - $20

These prices will go up as we are able to open more terrain!

Lift tickets are interchangeable with a free shuttle running between the resorts.
