This report is for: Friday, January 13, 2006 updated at 6:00 a.m.
Conditions at the resorts have improved dramatically this week thanks to snowmaking! Forecasts are
calling for a fast moving winter storm to bring natural snow to the resorts late Saturday and that means
we could have our first powder skiing of the season this holiday weekend! Keep in touch with this report
for updated road, weather and snow conditions. Come up to Big Bear Mountain Resorts today and enjoy
great conditions and plenty of wide-open runs with little to no lift lines.
--------------------------

---
Today's snow surface: Machine-groomed loose granular with some hard-packed spots that will soften during
the day.
Today's Snow Coverage: Excellent on the open runs with no bare spots.
Snow Depth: 12 inches on the open runs.
Forecasts: Mostly clear and mild with increasing clouds and south/southwest winds.
Highs are expected to reach the low 50s with overnight lows dropping into the low 30s.
