Snowmaking operations were in progress overnight at both resorts! Come up for a great weekend of skiing
and snowboarding with plenty of sunshine, mild temperatures and very good conditions at Snow Summit and
Bear Mountain! Groms will rule Bear Mountain today with the promise of "American Idol" fame, as one
lucky youth will be crowned the Sports Illustrated for Kids Next Snow Search representative (Bear
Mountain). Boys and girls age 9-13, both skiers and snowboarders, will compete in one class in the jib
setup. Competitors will be judged on style, attitude and sportsmanship in addition to athletic skills.
The winner will move on to the nationally-televised event at Keystone, Colorado, on January 27th and
28th, 2006!

At Big Bear Mountain Resorts one lift ticket gives you access to MORE open terrain, MORE lifts operating

the resorts! Big Bear Mountain Resorts is operating 18 lifts as needed, including four high-speed quads
accessing three top-to-bottom runs, plus a variety of interconnecting runs offering terrain for all
levels of ability. The All-Mountain Freestyle Park at Bear now has 64 rails, boxes and snow features

Regular season prices: Monday - Friday (non-holiday)
Adults - $49
Young adults (ages 13-21 with a valid ID ) - $39
Children (ages 7-12) - $19
Children 6 and under are always free with a paying adult
Lift tickets are interchangeable with a free shuttle running between the resorts.
Peak season weekend pricing is in effect (weekends & holidays) January 7 - March 12, 2006.

In recognition that we are operating on limited terrain, Big Bear Mountain Resorts is offering a return
voucher valid anytime with a one year expiration! A $10 voucher will be issued upon purchase of an
all-day adult, young adult or child lift ticket at any ticket window. A $5 voucher will be issued upon
purchase of a half-day adult, young adult or child lift ticket at any ticket window. This bounce-back
offer is in effect during Peak Weekends and Holidays until further notice.

* BEAR MOUNTAIN'S All-In Poker Run Wednesdays! Contestants for All-In Wednesdays must present a lift
ticket or season pass to participate. Registration will be held in the BoardRoom at Bear Mountain every
Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. starting January 11, 2006. Each contestant will select a single envelope with a
card inside at five predetermined locations to complete their poker hand. The winners will be determined
by the three highest poker hands submitted to the dealer in the BoardRoom by 12:45 p.m. or the hand will

poker with the pros at the Wide Open #3 at Bear on March 1, 2006!
