ALL ROADS INTO BIG BEAR ARE OPEN. HWY 330/18 IS OPEN WITH A DETOUR AROUND THE NORTH SIDE OF BIG BEAR
LAKE THAT WILL TAKE YOU A EXTRA 5 MINUTES TO GET TO SNOW SUMMIT OR BEAR MOUNTAIN. HWY 38 FROM REDLANDS
AND HWY 18 FROM THE LUCERNE VALLEY ARE OPEN AND CLEAR WITH NO RESTRICTIONS.
Winter weather has returned to Big Bear with around-the-clock snowmaking in progress! Forecasts are
calling for increasing clouds and windy conditions with a chance of natural snow by Saturday night. This
is a fast moving winter storm with skies expected to clear by Sunday morning. Daytime temperatures will
remain in the 30s through the weekend so please dress warm for your day of skiing and snowboarding.
At Big Bear Mountain Resorts, nearly all runs are open with 24 out of 26 lifts opearting as needed,
thanks to two of the world's largest snowmaking systems plus a nearly inexhaustible supply of water from
Big Bear Lake! Around-the-clock snowmaking operations resumed Tuesday night and will continue as
conditions permit. Coverage is excellent on the open runs with a surface that is mostly fresh man-made
packed powder. One lift ticket gives you access to more open terrain and more lifts operating than any
other Southern California resort. Experience two distinct resorts with a free shuttle running between
Snow Summit and Bear Mountain every half-hour. Go to our Web site's photo gallery at

terrain features with 77 features at Snow Summit offering two unique, unmatched terrain parks. Bear
Mountain's standard halfpipe and superpipe are now open!
Regular Season rates are in effect Monday - Friday (non-holiday)

Young adults (ages 13-21 with a valid ID ) - $39
Children (ages 7-12) - $19
Children 6 and under are always free with a paying adult
Lift tickets are interchangeable with a free shuttle running between the resorts.
Peak Season (Weekend & Holiday) rates are in effect thru Sunday, March 12, 2006

Big Bear Mountain Resorts will be issuing a $10 bounce-back voucher during Peak Season Weekends,
including the Presidents Holiday, with the purchase of an Adult, Young Adult or Child all-day lift
ticket. Vouchers can be used at any ticket window through the end of the 2006/07 winter season. This
offer is valid until further notice.
Reservations are recommended for the Presidents' Holiday Weekend, 2/18 - 2/20. Please reserve Little
Bear School and Camp in advance as space is limited. Holiday pricing will be in effect 2/18 - 2/20.

Don't miss Snow Summit's Presidents' Holiday torchlight parade at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 19th!
Come watch as skiers and snowboarders serpentine their way down Log Chute. There will be a brief
interrruption of night session Sunday night from 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. Public viewing is free.
