ALL ROADS INTO BIG BEAR ARE OPEN WITH CHAINS REQUIRED on HWY 330/18 from San Bernardino and HWY 38 from Redlands. HWY 18 from Lucerne Valley is open and
clear with no restrictions - HWY 18 FROM RUNNING SPRINGS IS OPEN WITH AN EASY 5-MINUTE DETOUR AROUND THE NORTH SIDE OF BIG BEAR LAKE - ALWAYS CARRY CHAINS
IN YOUR VEHICLE WHEN DRIVING IN THE MOUNTAINS
The recent winter storms left Big Bear Mountain Resorts with 6 to 8 inches of new snow and the best conditions of the season. In addition to the natural
snow, around-the-clock snowmaking operations are in progress.
Big Bear Mountain Resorts had a record breaking snowmaking run Sunday night with single digit
temperatures on the mountain. Come up and enjoy fantastic mid-winter machine-groomed packed powder conditions. Coverage is excellent on the open runs with
nearly all runs open and 24 out of 26 lifts operating as needed. Snow Summit and Bear Mountain now have a 2 to 5 foot base for great skiing and riding well
into April. Experience two distinct resorts with a free shuttle running between Snow Summit and Bear Mountain every half-hour. Go to our Web site at

Highs are expected to reach the mid 30s with overnight lows dropping into the single digit.

features with 77 features at Snow Summit offering two unique, unmatched terrain parks. Bear Mountain's standard halfpipe and superpipe are open.

Young Adult (ages 13-21 with a valid ID ) - $39
Child (ages 7-12) - $19
Children 6 and under are always free with a paying adult
Lift tickets are interchangeable with a free shuttle running between the resorts.
Peak Season Weekend rates are in effect thru Sunday, March 12, 2006

Young Adult Peak Season (ages 13-21 with a valid ID ) - $51
Child Peak Season (ages 7-12) - $25
Big Bear Mountain Resorts is issuing a $10 bounce-back voucher during Peak Season Weekends with the purchase of an Adult, Young Adult or Child all-day lift
ticket. Vouchers can be used at any ticket window through the end of the 2006/07 winter season. This offer is valid until further notice.
