Come up and enjoy great skiing and riding conditions Nearly all runs are open at Snow Summit and Bear Mountain with excellent coverage and a a two- to five-foot base for great skiing and riding well into April. HWY 330 is closed dur to a landslide - use alternate routes into Big BearHwy 330, from San Bernardino, is closed due to a landslide. Please use alternate routes Hwy 38 from Redlands and Hwy 18 from the Lucerne Valley. Hwy 38 from Redlands is open and clear with no restrictions. Hwy 18 from the Lucerne Valley is open with one-way controlled traffic at various locations from 0830 to 1530 Monday 3/6 thru Friday 3/10 due to maintenance. Always carry chains in your vehicle when driving in the mountains during winter months and have them readily accessible to checkpoint officers.
