~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All runs are now open at Big Bear Mountain Resorts with over 2-1/2 feet of fresh powder! The resorts received 30 to 32 inches of light dry snow from this winter storm and powder conditions just don't get any better than this! It may take a little longer to get here today, but your day on the slopes will be well worth the extra drive time! For advanced skiers and riders Geronimo, Southern California's highest and steepest lift-served terrain, will open today at Bear Mountain! Coverage is excellent on the open runs with packed powder to fresh powder conditions over a 3- to 6- foot base. Winter storms only bring snow like this once a season and you don't want miss the best powder skiing this year! Conditions will be incredible all next week if you can't make it up today!
All roads into Big Bear are open with chains required on all vehicles, no exceptions, on all roads Hwy 330 from San Bernardino is now open until Monday, March 20th at 7:00 a.m. Alternate routes into the Big Bear Valley include Hwy 38 from Redlands and Hwy 18 from the Lucerne Valley.
