Winter's not over yet! Last night the resorts received 4 to 5 inches of new snow in addition to the 7 to 10 inches of snow that fell since last weekend and more snow is in the forecast for today!

All runs are open with incredible mid-winter packed powder conditions and excellent coverage over a 3- to 6-foot base. With the best skiing and riding of the season and more snow in the forecast, this is a week you won't want to miss! Hwy 38 from Redlands and Hwy 18 from the Lucerne Valley are open with chains required on all vehicles except 4-wheel drive with snow tires. Hwy 330 is closed for maintenance.

Hwy 330 will be closed for maintenance Tuesday 3/21 thru Thursday 3/23 from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday 3/24. Hwy 330 will reopen at 3:00 p.m. on Friday for the weekend.

Alternate routes into Big Bear include Hwy 38 from Redlands and Hwy 18 from the Lucerne Valley. Always carry chains in your vehicle when driving in the mountains during the winter months. Keep in touch with this report or call Caltrans at 1-800-427-ROAD for updated road information.
