The resorts received 1-2 inches of light snow overnight, providing great packed powder conditions! Come up and enjoy great skiing and riding conditions! Nearly all runs are open at Snow Summit and Bear Mountain with excellent coverage and a a two- to five-foot base for great skiing and riding well into April. One lift ticket at Big Bear Mountain Resorts gives you access to two distinct resorts with 24 out of 26 lifts operating as needed and a free shuttle running between the resorts every half-hour.
HWY 330 is closed dur to a landslide - use alternate routes into Big BearHwy 330, from San Bernardino, is closed due to a landslide. Please use alternate routes Hwy 38 from Redlands and Hwy 18 from the Lucerne Valley. Hwy 38 from Redlands REQUIRES CHAINS ON ALL VEHICLES EXCEPT 4-WHEEL-DRIVE VEHICLES WITH SNOW TIRES ON ALL 4 WHEELS FROM 1.5 MI EAST OF FOREST FALLS BLVD TO BIG BEAR DAM. Hwy 18 from the Lucerne Valley is open with chains required on all vehicles except 4x4 vehicles with snow tires from SR189 to 6.5 mi west of SR 247 with with one-way controlled traffic at various locations from 0830 to 1530 thru Friday 3/10 due to maintenance. Always carry chains in your vehicle when driving in the mountains during winter months and have them readily accessible to checkpoint officers.

Adults: $49
Young adults (ages 13-21 with valid ID ): $39
Children (ages 7-12): $19 Children 6 and under are always free with a paying adult. Peak Season Weekend Rates rates are in effect March 11 & 12, 2006:
Adults: $62
Young adults (ages 13-21 with valid ID ): $51
Children (ages 7-12): $25 Big Bear Mountain Resorts is issuing a $10 bounce-back voucher during Peak Season Weekends, with the purchase of an Adult, Young Adult or Child all-day lift ticket. Vouchers can be used at any ticket window through the end of the 2006/07 winter season. This offer is valid until further notice.
