BIG BEAR MOUNTAIN RESORTS SNOW REPORT
- Snow Summit & Bear Mountain -
This report is for: Friday, January 20, 2006 updated at 6:30 a.m.
With the best snow in Southern California, Big Bear Mountain Resorts adds the extras that give skiers
and snowboarders plenty to get excited about. One lift ticket allows you to experience two distinct
resorts with a free shuttle running between Snow Summit and Bear Mountain every half hour. Twenty-one
lifts are operating as needed, including four high-speed quads accessing five top-to-bottom runs and a
variety of interconnecting trails. The standard half-pipe at Bear Mountain is expected to open Saturday!
Make plans to come up to Big Bear Mountain Resorts and get more open terrain, lifts operating and
terrain features than any other Southern California Resort.
A combination of state-of-the-art snowmaking systems and exceptional attention to grooming will give you
the superior skiing and boarding experience you're looking for. All open trails are in great shape even
though Mother Nature hasn't been very cooperative this winter.
