BIG BEAR MOUNTAIN RESORTS SNOW REPORT
- Snow Summit & Bear Mountain -

This report is for: Sunday, January 22, 2006 updated at 6:30 a.m.

At Big Bear Mountain Resorts, conditions are way better than you may expect with more terrain open than
you realize! Two of the world's largest snowmaking systems plus a nearly inexhaustible supply of water
from Big Bear Lake have allowed our snowmaking crews to make a tremendous amount of snow. Forecasts are
calling for cold dry Santa Ana conditions over the next few days enabling the resorts to continue to
make snow around-the-clock! Coverage is excellent on all open runs with a machine groomed packed powder
surface. One lift ticket gives you access to more open terrain and more lifts operating than any other
Southern California resort. Experience two distinct resorts with a free shuttle running between Snow
Summit and Bear Mountain every half hour. Twenty-one lifts are operating as needed, including four
high-speed quads accessing five top-to-bottom runs and a variety of interconnecting trails. Go to our
Web site's photo gallery at bigbearmountainresorts.com for highlighted trail maps indicating runs now
open and runs to open next. Snow Summit's Chair 6 will open next offering expert terrain on The Wall and
Olympic! Snowmaking is in progress on Perfect Pitches and Sugarpine at Snow Summit and on Exhibition,
Rip Cord and in the Superpipe at Bear Mountain.
