Big Bear Mountain Resorts' Snow Report May 1, 2006
THANKS FOR ANOTHER FUN SEASON!
Snow Summit and Bear Mountain are now closed for skiing and snowboarding for the 2005/2006 winter season.
The snow may be gone, however the scenic sky chair, golf, hiking and mountain biking are just around the corner as well as all of the summer activities and events that bring Big Bear Mountain Resorts to life in the summer. Thanks again for a great winter and we look forward to seeing you this summer!
Scenic Sky ChairDuring the summer, Snow Summit transforms the East Mountain Express high-speed quad into the Scenic Sky Chair. It is used to transport cross-country mountain bikers, hikers and sightseers on a relaxing 20-minute ride through the beautiful San Bernardino National Forest to our 8,200-foot summit. At the top you will find gorgeous scenery, breathtaking vistas, and Snow Summit's mountain top BBQ, and View Haus. Enjoy spectacular views of Big Bear Lake, the surrounding valley and mountains and Southern California's highest peak, Mt San Gorgonio.

Drive a few balls before your round or practice all day long at our 300-yard driving range located on the north end of the course. We also offer a chipping green to keep your short game sharp.
